Xardion

Xardion tells the tale of 3 warring planets that are home to 3 distinct alien races. Their fighting is interrupted by the threat of invasion from a much more potent alien race. The 3 planets find that they are able to set aside their differences long enough to battle their shared menace. Each planet sends a warrior to deal with the threat. There is a robot named triton, a cat-like quadruped named panthera, and a giant red bipedal insect alien name alcedes. The single player of the game controls one of these characters at a time and can switch at any time. If the current character loses all of his health, the player is sent back to the start of the level and that one character receives a health refill. Each character has special attributes that help the team. For example, panthera's relatively small size allows him to squeeze into spots where the other 2 characters can not travel. The characters can gather a number of unique powerups and weapons to help them on their mission.

Xardion raconte l'histoire de 3 planètes en guerre qui abritent 3 races extraterrestres distinctes. Leurs combats sont interrompus par la menace d’invasion d’une race extraterrestre bien plus puissante. Les trois planètes découvrent qu'elles sont capables de mettre de côté leurs différences suffisamment longtemps pour combattre leur menace commune. Chaque planète envoie un guerrier pour faire face à la menace. Il y a un robot nommé triton, un quadrupède félin nommé panthera et un insecte bipède rouge géant nommé alcedes. Le joueur unique du jeu contrôle un de ces personnages à la fois et peut changer de personnage à tout moment. Si le personnage actuel perd toute sa santé, le joueur est renvoyé au début du niveau et ce personnage reçoit une recharge de santé. Chaque personnage possède des attributs spéciaux qui aident l'équipe. Par exemple, la taille relativement petite de Panthera lui permet de se faufiler dans des endroits où les 2 autres personnages ne peuvent pas voyager. Les personnages peuvent rassembler un certain nombre de bonus et d'armes uniques pour les aider dans leur mission.

Xardion racconta la storia di 3 pianeti in guerra che ospitano 3 razze aliene distinte. I loro combattimenti vengono interrotti dalla minaccia di invasione da parte di una razza aliena molto più potente. I 3 pianeti scoprono di essere in grado di mettere da parte le loro differenze abbastanza a lungo per combattere la minaccia che condividono. Ogni pianeta invia un guerriero per affrontare la minaccia.
