Tenchi Muyou! : Game Hen

Sasami is kidnapped by a mysterious little girl with magical powers, and tenchi and his companions must travel to rescue her, battling monsters and other creatures on the way. Tenchi muyou! game-hen is a strategy game with rpg elements, based on the popular japanese tenchi muyo! cartoon series. The game moves from battle to battle, with the plot being revealed through cutscenes between them. The player fights the computer on turns, controlling the individuals from a party of four. The party members are selected on a separate screen before each battle, and as the game progresses new characters become available. During the skirmish, selecting the characters brings up a menu with three command options: move, attack or end turn. A fourth transform option becomes available later, after they reach a higher level. When moving or attacking, glowing tiles on the ground show the maximum range of the action. Performing either one costs action points, shown as eight regenerating green dots on the status window, alongside basic statistics like health, defense and attack levels. Characters level up automatically while on the battlefield, increasing their abilities and receiving more powerful attacks. Health powers are also accessed through the attack menu, recovering lost points to an ailing comrade within their range. Characters can transform to a more powerful version when they have the ability to do so, and all the eight green dots are still available. The transformed unit has more powerful attacks and a wider range of movement. After the battle, a map screen appears where the player can save the game, and choose the next battle from one of the available paths. It is possible to revisit battlegrounds, to level up before tackling stronger enemies.

Tenchi muyou ! game-hen est un jeu de stratégie avec des éléments RPG, basé sur le populaire tenchi muyo japonais ! série de dessins animés. Le jeu se déroule de bataille en bataille, l'intrigue étant révélée à travers des cinématiques entre elles. Le joueur combat l'ordinateur à tour de rôle, contrôlant les individus d'un groupe de quatre. Les personnages montent automatiquement de niveau sur le champ de bataille, augmentant leurs capacités et recevant des attaques plus puissantes. Les pouvoirs de santé sont également accessibles via le menu d'attaque, récupérant les points perdus par un camarade malade à portée. Les personnages peuvent se transformer en une version plus puissante lorsqu'ils en ont la possibilité, et les huit points verts sont toujours disponibles. L'unité transformée a des attaques plus puissantes et une plus grande amplitude de mouvement. Après la bataille, un écran de carte apparaît où le joueur peut sauvegarder la partie et choisir la prochaine bataille parmi l'un des chemins disponibles. Il est possible de revisiter les champs de bataille, de monter de niveau avant d'affronter des ennemis plus forts.

I personaggi salgono di livello automaticamente mentre sono sul campo di battaglia, aumentando le loro abilità e ricevendo attacchi più potenti. È possibile accedere ai poteri sanitari anche tramite il menu di attacco, recuperando i punti persi a un compagno malato nel suo raggio d'azione. I personaggi possono trasformarsi in una versione più potente quando hanno la capacità di farlo e tutti gli otto punti verdi sono ancora disponibili. L'unità trasformata ha attacchi più potenti e una gamma di movimento più ampia. Dopo la battaglia, viene visualizzata una schermata della mappa in cui il giocatore può salvare la partita e scegliere la battaglia successiva da uno dei percorsi disponibili. È possibile rivisitare i campi di battaglia, salire di livello prima di affrontare nemici più forti.
