Magna Braban : Henreki no Yuusha

The demon king and his monster armies have been attacking the human kingdoms in an effort to exterminate them all. One day a young boy named alex is attacked by four monsters but is saved by a knight of anatea. Alex, the son of a shepard, grows up idolizing this knight and once the proper age, wishes to enroll in the arena tournament, though his family forbids him. Entering the tournament alex and two other warriors: gina the magician and getz the mercenary, all are defeated in the first round and sent to the inn to recuperate. However during their absence, the demon king plans a surprise attack on the arena and kills everyone there. As the only surviving warriors from the tournament, alex, gina and getz are mistakingly assumed to be strong enough to withstand monsters, and made knights by the king and given the mission of defeating the demon king. They set out on an epic journey... Magna braban: henreki no yusha is a console-style rpg with party-based combat and random enemy encounters. The game's main view is an overhead map of a specific location, such as a town, where the characters move and can interact with npcs. Upon leaving an area, the view changes to a larger overworld map showing locations of interest. The battles are viewed from an isometric perspective and the characters automatically engage and perform their actions. While the player does not directly control any of the characters, they can pause the battle at time and assign new strategies (such as melee, use long-ranged attacks or use magic) to each character. Experience points and gold are awarded after each battle, the later of which can be used to purchase equipment and items.

Un jour, un jeune garçon nommé Alex est attaqué par quatre monstres mais est sauvé par un chevalier d'Anatea. Alex, le fils d'un berger, grandit en idolâtrant ce chevalier et, une fois atteint l'âge requis, souhaite s'inscrire au tournoi d'arène, bien que sa famille le lui interdise. En entrant dans le tournoi, Alex et deux autres guerriers : Gina la magicienne et Getz le mercenaire, sont tous vaincus au premier tour et envoyés à l'auberge pour récupérer. Cependant, pendant leur absence, le roi démon planifie une attaque surprise sur l'arène et tue tout le monde. En tant que seuls guerriers survivants du tournoi, Alex, Gina et Getz sont supposés à tort être assez forts pour résister aux monstres, et ont été nommés chevaliers par le roi et chargés de la mission de vaincre le roi démon. Ils se lancent dans un voyage épique... Magna braban : henreki no yusha est un jeu de rôle de style console avec des combats en groupe et des rencontres aléatoires avec des ennemis. La vue principale du jeu est une carte aérienne d'un emplacement spécifique, comme une ville, où les personnages se déplacent et peuvent interagir avec les PNJ. En quittant une zone, la vue se transforme en une carte du monde plus grande montrant les lieux d'intérêt. Les batailles sont vues dans une perspective isométrique et les personnages s'engagent et exécutent automatiquement leurs actions. Bien que le joueur ne contrôle directement aucun des personnages, il peut suspendre la bataille à un moment donné et attribuer de nouvelles stratégies (telles que la mêlée, utiliser des attaques à longue portée ou utiliser la magie) à chaque personnage. Des points d'expérience et de l'or sont attribués après chaque bataille, le dernier pouvant être utilisé pour acheter de l'équipement et des objets.
