In 2192, a new city, selene, is built on the moon. Over the years, selene grows larger, more powerful, and more independent of the earth - to the point that the moon and earth battle in a war that winds down without a definite victory for either side. In 2242, war breaks out again - the earth slowly begins to win... Except for the efforts of an experimental selene technology known as einhänders: flying machines with a "hand" that allows them to change weaponry mid-battle. On december 12, 2245, selene sends down 3 einhänders in a last attempt to turn the tide of the war. You get to choose the craft to pilot, and it's up to you to battle your way through the earth's monstrous defenses and win the battle. The game is a traditional side-scrolling shooter, with rendered 3d backgrounds and enemies. The atmosphere of the game is very "industrial", down to the german industrial music playing in the background (think einsturzende neubauten mixed with lords of acid). The weapon-switching and claiming is an integral part of the game, as weapons have limited shots. This forces a bit more strategy than the usual button-mashing shooters inspire.

En 2192, une nouvelle ville, Sélène, est construite sur la Lune. Au fil des années, Séléné devient plus grande, plus puissante et plus indépendante de la Terre, au point que la Lune et la Terre s'affrontent dans une guerre qui se termine sans victoire définitive des deux côtés. En 2242, la guerre éclate à nouveau - la terre commence lentement à gagner... Sauf les efforts d'une technologie expérimentale de séléné connue sous le nom d'einhänders : des machines volantes dotées d'une "main" qui leur permet de changer d'arme en cours de bataille. Le 12 décembre 2245, Sélène envoie 3 einhänders dans une dernière tentative pour renverser le cours de la guerre. Vous pouvez choisir le vaisseau à piloter, et c'est à vous de vous frayer un chemin à travers les défenses monstrueuses de la terre et de gagner la bataille. Le jeu est un jeu de tir traditionnel à défilement latéral, avec des arrière-plans et des ennemis rendus en 3D. L'atmosphère du jeu est très "industrielle", avec la musique industrielle allemande qui joue en fond (pensez aux einsturzende neubauten mélangés à des seigneurs de l'acide). Le changement et la revendication d'armes font partie intégrante du jeu, car les armes ont des tirs limités. Cela oblige un peu plus de stratégie que ce que les tireurs habituels à écrasement de boutons inspirent.

L'atmosfera del gioco è molto "industriale", con la musica industriale tedesca in sottofondo (si pensi a einsturzende neubauten mescolati con signori dell'acid). Il cambio e la rivendicazione dell'arma sono parte integrante del gioco, poiché le armi hanno colpi limitati. Ciò impone un po' più di strategia rispetto a quella ispirata dai soliti sparatutto che schiacciano i pulsanti.
