Final lap twin is a hybrid racing/role-playing game released for the pc engine in 1989 and the turbografx-16 in 1990, as a spin-off to the 1987 arcade game final lap. The protagonist is on a quest to live up to the reputation of his racing-champion dad. He travels over the map, meeting small-time racers, and must race his car to earn money that he spends on upgrading his car, eventually facing the local racing champion. After beating the rest of the local racing champions in the various cities, the protagonist must go through a maze to find the final upgrades of the different parts of his car, and then face the world racing champion.

Le protagoniste cherche à être à la hauteur de la réputation de son père, champion de course automobile. Il voyage à travers la carte, rencontre de petits coureurs et doit piloter sa voiture pour gagner de l'argent qu'il dépense pour améliorer sa voiture, pour finalement affronter le champion de course local. Après avoir battu le reste des champions de course locaux dans les différentes villes, le protagoniste doit parcourir un labyrinthe pour trouver les dernières améliorations des différentes parties de sa voiture, puis affronter le champion du monde de course.
Final Lap Twin è un gioco ibrido di corse/giochi di ruolo pubblicato per PC Engine nel 1989 e per Turbografx-16 nel 1990, come spin-off del gioco arcade Final Lap del 1987. Il protagonista è alla ricerca di essere all'altezza della reputazione di suo padre, campione di corse. Viaggia sulla mappa, incontra piccoli corridori e deve gareggiare con la sua macchina per guadagnare soldi che spende per aggiornare la sua auto, affrontando infine il campione di corse locale. Dopo aver battuto il resto dei campioni di corse locali nelle varie città, il protagonista deve attraversare un labirinto per trovare gli aggiornamenti finali delle diverse parti della sua vettura, e poi affrontare il campione del mondo di corse.
