OPEN Season

Open season is based on the sony pictures animation's cg animated film of the same name, where a rowdy brood of forest animals turn the tables on a bunch of unsuspecting hunters. The game is a side-scrolling-puzzle adventure. The plot of the game is to complete puzzles and avoid traps to advance from level to level. Every level completed will raise your friendship with the different animals of the forest. Once friends, these animals can be used as allies to attack and defeat the hunters encountered along the way. Following the plot of the movie, once the player has become friends with a sufficient amount of animals, he can then take on the evil hunter leader shaw. The gameplay loop is to find clever ways to solve puzzles that prevent you from moving forward in a level. To solve these puzzles, the player can switch between the two main characters : boog, a 900 pound bear and elliott, a crazy deer. Both characters have their specific skills which need to be wisely used to progress through the levels. To solve most of the puzzles, boog and elliott, each controlled individually and seperately, will have to work as a team. To complicate the gameplay a bit, the player will encounter hunters on the way which he can defeat "using" the now friendly skunks, beavers, squirrels... Which all have their unique skills. This game is a 2,5d side-scrolling game with an emphasis on spatial puzzles. The story mode contains 27 levels. In addition, there's also eight minigames.

Open Season est basé sur le film d'animation cg du même nom de Sony Pictures Animation, où une couvée tapageuse d'animaux de la forêt renverse la situation sur un groupe de chasseurs sans méfiance. Le jeu est une aventure de puzzle à défilement horizontal. L'intrigue du jeu consiste à résoudre des énigmes et à éviter les pièges pour avancer de niveau en niveau. Chaque niveau complété augmentera votre amitié avec les différents animaux de la forêt. Une fois amis, ces animaux peuvent être utilisés comme alliés pour attaquer et vaincre les chasseurs rencontrés en cours de route. Suivant l'intrigue du film, une fois que le joueur est devenu ami avec un nombre suffisant d'animaux, il peut alors affronter le méchant chef des chasseurs Shaw. La boucle du gameplay consiste à trouver des moyens intelligents de résoudre des énigmes qui vous empêchent d'avancer dans un niveau. Pour résoudre ces énigmes, le joueur peut alterner entre les deux personnages principaux : Boog, un ours de 900 livres et Elliott, un cerf fou. Les deux personnages ont leurs compétences spécifiques qui doivent être utilisées judicieusement pour progresser dans les niveaux. Pour résoudre la plupart des énigmes, Boog et Elliott, chacun contrôlé individuellement et séparément, devront travailler en équipe. Pour compliquer un peu le gameplay, le joueur rencontrera sur le chemin des chasseurs qu'il pourra vaincre "en utilisant" les désormais amicaux mouffettes, castors, écureuils... Qui ont tous leurs compétences uniques. Ce jeu est un jeu à défilement latéral 2,5D mettant l'accent sur les énigmes spatiales. Le mode histoire contient 27 niveaux. De plus, il y a aussi huit mini-jeux.

Il gioco è un'avventura puzzle a scorrimento laterale. La trama del gioco è completare gli enigmi ed evitare le trappole per avanzare di livello in livello. Ogni livello completato aumenterà la tua amicizia con i diversi animali della foresta. Una volta amici, questi animali potranno essere utilizzati come alleati per attaccare e sconfiggere i cacciatori incontrati lungo il cammino. Seguendo la trama del film, una volta che il giocatore ha stretto amicizia con un numero sufficiente di animali, può affrontare il malvagio leader dei cacciatori Shaw. Il ciclo di gioco consiste nel trovare modi intelligenti per risolvere enigmi che ti impediscono di avanzare in un livello. Per risolvere questi enigmi, il giocatore può alternare i due personaggi principali: Boog, un orso di 900 libbre ed elliott, un cervo pazzo. Per risolvere la maggior parte degli enigmi, Boog ed Elliott, ciascuno controllato individualmente e separatamente, dovranno lavorare in squadra. Per complicare un po' il gameplay, il giocatore incontrerà dei cacciatori lungo la strada che potrà sconfiggere "usando" le ormai amichevoli puzzole, castori, scoiattoli... che hanno tutti le loro abilità uniche. Questo gioco è un gioco a scorrimento laterale 2,5d con un'enfasi sugli enigmi spaziali. La modalità storia contiene 27 livelli. Inoltre, ci sono anche otto minigiochi.
