Strider

Set in the future, the game centers around a secret organization of ninja-like operatives known as "striders", who specializes in various kinds of wetworks such as smuggling, kidnapping, demolitions, and disruption. The player takes control strider hiryu, the youngest elite-class strider in the organization. Hiryu is summoned by the organization's second-in-command, vice director matic, to assassinate his friend kain, who has been captured by hostile forces and has become a liability to the striders. Instead of killing him, hiryu decides to rescue kain from his captors. With the help of his fellow strider sheena, hiryu uncovers a conspiracy between a certain faction of the strider organization led by matic himself and an unknown organization known simply as the "enterprise" (headed by a man named faceas clay) which involves the development of a mind-control weapon codenamed "zain". In the course of finding and destroying these zain units, hiryu learns that the faction of conspirators is headed by vice director matic himself. Hiryu eventually tracks matic to an orbiting space station where the two striders face off; after a brief battle hiryu bests matic and kills him. Afterwards hiryu locates and destroys the last of the zain units. In the epilogue, it is revealed that though hiryu was asked to return to the strider organization he instead opted to retire. The final credits show him sheathing his weapon and walking away.

Se déroulant dans le futur, le jeu se concentre sur une organisation secrète d'agents de type ninja connus sous le nom de « striders », spécialisés dans divers types de réseaux tels que la contrebande, les enlèvements, les démolitions et la perturbation. Le joueur prend le contrôle du strider Hiryu, le plus jeune arpenteur de classe élite de l'organisation. Hiryu est convoqué par le commandant en second de l'organisation, le vice-directeur Matic, pour assassiner son ami Kain, qui a été capturé par des forces hostiles et est devenu un handicap pour les marcheurs. Au lieu de le tuer, Hiryu décide de sauver Kain de ses ravisseurs. Avec l'aide de son camarade strider Sheena, Hiryu découvre une conspiration entre une certaine faction de l'organisation strider dirigée par matic lui-même et une organisation inconnue connue simplement sous le nom de « entreprise » (dirigée par un homme nommé faceas clay) qui implique le développement d'une arme de contrôle mental nommée « zain ». Au cours de la recherche et de la destruction de ces unités zain, Hiryu apprend que la faction des conspirateurs est dirigée par le vice-directeur Matic lui-même. Hiryu suit finalement Matic jusqu'à une station spatiale en orbite où les deux marcheurs s'affrontent ; après une brève bataille, Hiryu bat Matic et le tue. Ensuite, Hiryu localise et détruit la dernière des unités zain. Dans l'épilogue, il est révélé que bien qu'on ait demandé à Hiryu de retourner dans l'organisation des striders, il a plutôt choisi de prendre sa retraite. Le générique final le montre rengainant son arme et s'éloignant.

Ambientato nel futuro, il gioco è incentrato su un'organizzazione segreta di agenti simili a ninja noti come "striders", specializzati in vari tipi di lavori umidi come contrabbando, rapimento, demolizioni e disordini. Il giocatore prende il controllo dello Strider Hiryu, il più giovane strider di classe élite dell'organizzazione. Hiryu viene convocato dal secondo in comando dell'organizzazione, il vice direttore Matic, per assassinare il suo amico Kain, che è stato catturato da forze ostili ed è diventato un ostacolo per gli Strider. Invece di ucciderlo, Hiryu decide di salvare Kain dai suoi rapitori. Con l'aiuto della sua compagna Strider Sheena, Hiryu scopre una cospirazione tra una certa fazione dell'organizzazione Strider guidata dallo stesso Matic e un'organizzazione sconosciuta conosciuta semplicemente come "Enterprise" (guidata da un uomo chiamato Faceas Clay) che prevede lo sviluppo di un'arma per il controllo mentale nome in codice "Zain". Mentre trova e distrugge queste unità Zain, Hiryu scopre che la fazione dei cospiratori è guidata dallo stesso vicedirettore Matic. Hiryu alla fine rintraccia Matic su una stazione spaziale orbitante dove i due strider si affrontano; dopo una breve battaglia Hiryu ha la meglio su Matic e lo uccide. Successivamente Hiryu individua e distrugge l'ultima delle unità zain. Nell'epilogo, viene rivelato che sebbene a Hiryu sia stato chiesto di tornare nell'organizzazione degli Strider, ha invece deciso di ritirarsi. I titoli di coda lo mostrano mentre rinfodera l'arma e si allontana.
