Alors qu'il s'apprête à présenter ses inventions à un colloque de recherche scientifique à New York, le comte Champignac est kidnappé par un cyanida. Le robot maléfique n’a qu’un seul objectif : gouverner le monde. Il n'y a pas un instant à perdre. Spirou devra parcourir les rues, les métros et les gratte-ciel de New York et s'envoler pour la Palombie, une jungle marécageuse pleine de surprises... Des bons et des mauvais...
