Second Samurai

The second samurai is a beat-em-up developed by vivid image and psygnosis and released exclusively in europe for the commodore amiga (1993) and sega mega drive (1994). It is the sequel to the first samurai, a beat-em-up released for various home computers and the snes internationally a few years prior. You play as one of two samurais (the 1-player mode has the male protagonist from the first samurai only; the 2-player mode lets the second player control a new female samurai). A and b both attack depending on what weapon you have equipped right now (only one at a time, some in limited quantities), what enemies/objects are nearby, and which d-pad buttons you are holding at the time. C jumps. A screen at the beginning of the game (also accessible from the options menu) shows you what each in-game item does for you. A sega mega-cd port was advertised, but never released.

Le deuxième samouraï est un beat-em-up développé par une image vive et un psygnosis et sorti exclusivement en Europe pour le Commodore Amiga (1993) et Sega Mega Drive (1994). Il s'agit de la suite du premier Samurai, un beat-em-up sorti sur divers ordinateurs personnels et sur SNES à l'échelle internationale quelques années auparavant. Vous incarnez l'un des deux samouraïs (le mode 1 joueur n'a que le protagoniste masculin du premier samouraï ; le mode 2 joueurs permet au deuxième joueur de contrôler une nouvelle samouraïe). A et b attaquent tous les deux en fonction de l'arme que vous avez équipée actuellement (une seule à la fois, certaines en quantités limitées), des ennemis/objets à proximité et des boutons du D-pad que vous maintenez à ce moment-là. C saute. Un écran au début du jeu (également accessible depuis le menu des options) vous montre ce que chaque élément du jeu fait pour vous. Un portage Sega Mega-CD a été annoncé, mais n'a jamais été publié.

È il seguito del primo Samurai, un picchiaduro pubblicato per vari computer domestici e snes a livello internazionale qualche anno prima. Giochi nei panni di uno dei due samurai (la modalità a 1 giocatore ha solo il protagonista maschile del primo samurai; la modalità a 2 giocatori consente al secondo giocatore di controllare una nuova samurai donna). A e b attaccano entrambi a seconda dell'arma che hai equipaggiato in questo momento (solo una alla volta, alcune in quantità limitate), quali nemici/oggetti si trovano nelle vicinanze e quali pulsanti del D-pad stai tenendo premuto in quel momento. C salta. Una schermata all'inizio del gioco (accessibile anche dal menu delle opzioni) ti mostra cosa fa per te ogni oggetto di gioco. È stata pubblicizzata una conversione per mega-cd di Sega, ma mai rilasciata.
