This game is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up where the player controls a character that has to climb a tree and shoot bug-like enemies. The story is that the princess has been kidnapped by the villains of the insect world, and zippy bug has to rescue her. After shooting the enemies, they drop fruits that the player can collect for extra points, and skulls that are deadly if touched. The player is able to fly for a short time, and every time this is done, one of the letters from the 'i love you' at the bottom of the screen is used up. The letters regenerate over a small period of time. There are also other items, such as the key, which surrounds the player in a bubble and makes him invulnerable to 1 hit. Another item is a ring which seems to instantly replenish all of the used up 'i love you' letters. One other item is the hammer, which allows the player to wipe out all the enemies off the screen. There is a boss at the end of each level.

Ce jeu est un shoot'em up à défilement vertical dans lequel le joueur contrôle un personnage qui doit grimper à un arbre et tirer sur des ennemis ressemblant à des insectes. L'histoire est que la princesse a été kidnappée par les méchants du monde des insectes et que Zippy Bug doit la sauver. Après avoir tiré sur les ennemis, ils lâchent des fruits que le joueur peut collecter pour des points supplémentaires, ainsi que des crânes mortels s'ils sont touchés. Le joueur est capable de voler pendant une courte période, et à chaque fois que cela est fait, une des lettres du « je t'aime » en bas de l'écran est utilisée. Les lettres se régénèrent sur une courte période de temps. Il existe également d'autres objets, comme la clé, qui entoure le joueur dans une bulle et le rend invulnérable à 1 coup. Un autre objet est une bague qui semble reconstituer instantanément toutes les lettres «je t'aime» épuisées. Un autre élément est le marteau, qui permet au joueur d'éliminer tous les ennemis de l'écran. Il y a un boss à la fin de chaque niveau.
