Legion - Spinner-87 (World ver 2.03)

Legion is a horizontal shooter by telenet and renovation. The player takes control of a small spaceship and fights his way through a horde of enemy ships and facilities. The space-fighter starts off with a simple vulcan gun and there is a total of three powerup weapons available : vulcan-gun (red), laser (green) and homing-missiles (blue). There is also a small range of special icons, which appear every once in a while, and can either power-up the current weapon, add ground missiles or activate a shield around the ship. Finally, a smart bomb can be launched with the second action button and greatly damage everything on screen. Legion has an interesting level structure and different routes are provided at strategic points throughout the game. It is also the only shooter to play a narrative voice at the beginning of every stage, giving the game an unusual and authentic film noir touch.

Legion est un jeu de tir horizontal par Telenet et rénovation. Le joueur prend le contrôle d'un petit vaisseau spatial et se fraye un chemin à travers une horde de navires et d'installations ennemis. Le chasseur spatial commence avec un simple canon vulcain et il y a un total de trois armes puissantes disponibles : le canon vulcain (rouge), le laser (vert) et les missiles à tête chercheuse (bleu). Il existe également une petite gamme d'icônes spéciales, qui apparaissent de temps en temps et peuvent soit alimenter l'arme actuelle, ajouter des missiles au sol ou activer un bouclier autour du navire. Enfin, une bombe intelligente peut être lancée avec le deuxième bouton d'action et endommager considérablement tout ce qui se trouve à l'écran. Legion a une structure de niveaux intéressante et différents itinéraires sont proposés à des points stratégiques tout au long du jeu. C'est également le seul jeu de tir à jouer une voix narrative au début de chaque étape, donnant au jeu une touche de film noir inhabituelle et authentique.

Legion è uno sparatutto orizzontale di Telenet e rinnovamento. Il giocatore prende il controllo di una piccola astronave e si fa strada attraverso un'orda di navi e strutture nemiche. Il caccia spaziale inizia con una semplice pistola Vulcan e sono disponibili un totale di tre armi potenziate: pistola Vulcan (rossa), laser (verde) e missili a ricerca (blu). C'è anche una piccola gamma di icone speciali, che appaiono di tanto in tanto, e possono potenziare l'arma attuale, aggiungere missili terrestri o attivare uno scudo attorno alla nave. Infine, una bomba intelligente può essere lanciata con il secondo pulsante di azione e danneggiare gravemente tutto ciò che appare sullo schermo. Legion ha un'interessante struttura dei livelli e vengono forniti diversi percorsi in punti strategici durante il gioco. È anche l'unico sparatutto a interpretare una voce narrante all'inizio di ogni livello, conferendo al gioco un insolito e autentico tocco da film noir.
