Muscle Bomber: The Body Explosion (Japan 930713)

A 1-on-1 fighting game in which players choose from 10 different wrestlers and take to the ring to try and defeat their larger-than-life opponents. Each wrestler has an assortment of moves, including his own special 'super slam'. The object of the game is to win and defend the championship by pinning or putting a submission hold on your opponent. There are 2 different game modes to select and play : single match or tag team 'battle royal'. In single match, players choose to be one of eight wrestlers including 'mike hagger', 'alexander the grater', 'el stingray', 'king rasta mon', 'titanic tim', 'gunloc', 'biff bolshevik' and 'the great oni' ('jumbo jack' and 'the scorpion' cannot be selected in this game). Once a wrestler has been selected, players will compete in a world-wide tournament against the other 9 wrestlers (including 'jumbo jack' and 'the scorpion') in respective matches. In each match, players must defeat each of their respective opponents by a pinfall, count-out or submission in order to proceed to each of the following matches. Once all opponents are defeated, the winner will be crowned champion and players will have to face all opponents again to defend their title. In tag team 'battle royal', players can choose to play as any 2 of the 10 wrestlers for their tag team, including 'jumbo jack' and 'the scorpion'. Here, the player and his or her partner have to eliminate both of the 2 wrestlers on the opposing tag team, in order to win the match and proceed to the next. During these matches, if the player is eliminated before his or her partner is, the match will be declared no contest and it will be a draw. During each bout in this game, metal buckets and/or glass bottles will sometimes be thrown into the ring which can be picked by the players' wrestler(s) and used as weapons against their opponents.

Un jeu de combat 1 contre 1 dans lequel les joueurs choisissent parmi 10 lutteurs différents et montent sur le ring pour tenter de vaincre leurs adversaires plus grands que nature. Chaque lutteur dispose d'un assortiment de mouvements, y compris son propre « super chelem » spécial. Le but du jeu est de gagner et de défendre le championnat en épinglant ou en mettant une prise de soumission sur votre adversaire. Il existe 2 modes de jeu différents à sélectionner et à jouer : match simple ou « bataille royale » par équipe. En match simple, les joueurs choisissent d'être l'un des huit lutteurs dont « Mike Hagger », « Alexander the Grater », « El Stingray », « King Rasta Mon », « Titanic Tim », « Gunloc », « Biff Bolshevik » et « The Great Oni » (« Jumbo Jack » et « The Scorpion » ne peuvent pas être sélectionnés dans ce jeu). Une fois qu'un lutteur a été sélectionné, les joueurs participeront à un tournoi mondial contre les 9 autres lutteurs (dont « Jumbo Jack » et « le scorpion ») dans des matchs respectifs. Dans chaque match, les joueurs doivent vaincre chacun de leurs adversaires respectifs par un tombé, un décompte ou une soumission afin de passer à chacun des matchs suivants. Dans « Battle Royal » par équipe, les joueurs peuvent choisir de jouer avec 2 des 10 lutteurs de leur équipe, y compris « Jumbo Jack » et « le scorpion ». Ici, le joueur et son partenaire doivent éliminer les deux lutteurs de l'équipe adverse, afin de remporter le match et passer au suivant. Lors de ces matchs, si le joueur est éliminé avant son partenaire, le match sera déclaré nul et il s'agira d'un match nul. Au cours de chaque combat de ce jeu, des seaux en métal et/ou des bouteilles en verre seront parfois jetés dans le ring qui pourront être ramassés par le(s) lutteur(s) des joueurs et utilisés comme armes contre leurs adversaires.

Una volta sconfitti tutti gli avversari, il vincitore verrà incoronato campione e i giocatori dovranno affrontare nuovamente tutti gli avversari per difendere il proprio titolo. Nel tag team "battle royal", i giocatori possono scegliere di giocare nei panni di 2 qualsiasi dei 10 lottatori per il loro tag team, inclusi "jumbo jack" e "lo scorpione". Qui il giocatore e il suo partner devono eliminare entrambi i 2 lottatori del tag team avversario, per vincere l'incontro e passare a quello successivo. Durante questi incontri, se il giocatore viene eliminato prima del suo partner, l'incontro verrà dichiarato no contest e sarà un pareggio. Durante ogni incontro in questo gioco, a volte verranno lanciati sul ring secchi di metallo e/o bottiglie di vetro che potranno essere raccolti dai lottatori dei giocatori e usati come armi contro i loro avversari.
