Magician Lord (NGM-005)

Magician lord is a side-scrolling platform shoot-em-up in which players take on the roll of a wizard called elta - the last magician lord - on his quest to save his homeland from the evil gul-agieze, who plans to resurrect the god of destruction using 8 tomes of mystical power. Elta has to jump, shoot and climb his way to the end of each of the game's 8 levels where he must beat a servant of gal, along with one of gal's sinister boss creations. To complete the game elta must reach the final stage and defeat az atorse himself. If the player takes too long to complete a stage, elta will be harassed by an invincible monster. Elta's primary form of attack is a weak but fast-moving energy projectile that can fired in one of four directions, but by collecting the special coloured orbs that ocassionally appear, he can transform into a different form, making him more powerful and giving him new attacks. These are the six different forms that elta can assume by picking up the colored orbs: * dragon warrior: in this form elta attacks by breathing fire; a continuous short-range attack that, unlike the standad attack, can also be aimed diagonally. * waterman: the waterman-form attacks with water grenades – blue bubbles of water that burst upon touching the ground and form into water pillars. The attack can hit several times for additional damage but only covers a small area. * poseidon: a more powerful version of the waterman, poseidon shoots wide waves of water that travel along the ground for several hits. It does severe damage and causes enemies to freeze and shatter on impact. While very powerful, this form moves very slowly. * shinobi: the shinobi-form gains increased agility and attacks with powerful magical arcs of fire which are wide but slow-moving. * samurai: while limited in range, the samurai-form is the only form that can attack through walls, shields or even multiple enemies, using a boomerang-like energy attack that does heavy damage. * raijin: the raijin-form gives elta's jumping ability a big boost as well as a unique attack that creates a continuous electrical field around his body.

Magician Lord est un jeu de tir sur plateforme à défilement horizontal dans lequel les joueurs incarnent un sorcier appelé Elta - le dernier seigneur magicien - dans sa quête pour sauver son pays du maléfique Gul-agieze, qui envisage de ressusciter le dieu de la destruction en utilisant 8 tomes de pouvoir mystique. Elta doit sauter, tirer et grimper jusqu'à la fin de chacun des 8 niveaux du jeu où il doit battre un serviteur de gal, ainsi que l'une des sinistres créations de boss de gal. Pour terminer le jeu, Elta doit atteindre l'étape finale et vaincre Azatorse lui-même. Si le joueur met trop de temps à terminer une étape, Elta sera harcelée par un monstre invincible. La principale forme d'attaque d'Elta est un projectile énergétique faible mais rapide qui peut tirer dans l'une des quatre directions, mais en collectant les orbes colorés spéciaux qui apparaissent occasionnellement, il peut se transformer en une forme différente, le rendant plus puissant et lui donnant de nouvelles attaques. Voici les six formes différentes qu'Elta peut prendre en ramassant les orbes colorés : * guerrier dragon : sous cette forme, elta attaque en crachant du feu ; une attaque continue à courte portée qui, contrairement à l'attaque standad, peut également être dirigée en diagonale. * waterman : la forme waterman attaque avec des grenades à eau – des bulles d'eau bleues qui éclatent en touchant le sol et se transforment en piliers d'eau. L'attaque peut frapper plusieurs fois pour infliger des dégâts supplémentaires mais ne couvre qu'une petite zone. * Poséidon : version plus puissante du Waterman, Poséidon tire de larges vagues d'eau qui parcourent le sol pendant plusieurs coups. Il inflige de graves dégâts et fait geler et briser les ennemis à l'impact. Bien que très puissante, cette forme se déplace très lentement. * shinobi : la forme shinobi gagne en agilité et attaque avec de puissants arcs de feu magiques larges mais lents. * samouraï : bien que sa portée soit limitée, la forme samouraï est la seule qui peut attaquer à travers les murs, les boucliers ou même plusieurs ennemis, en utilisant une attaque énergétique de type boomerang qui inflige de lourds dégâts. * Raijin : la forme raijin donne un grand coup de pouce à la capacité de saut d'Elta ainsi qu'une attaque unique qui crée un champ électrique continu autour de son corps.

Magician Lord è uno sparatutto platform a scorrimento laterale in cui i giocatori assumono il ruolo di un mago chiamato Elta, l'ultimo signore dei maghi, nella sua missione per salvare la sua patria dal malvagio Gul-Agieze, che progetta di resuscitare il dio della distruzione utilizzando 8 tomi di potere mistico. Elta deve saltare, sparare e arrampicarsi fino alla fine di ciascuno degli 8 livelli del gioco dove deve sconfiggere un servitore della ragazza, insieme a uno dei sinistri boss creati dalla ragazza. Per completare il gioco elta dovrà raggiungere la fase finale e sconfiggere lo stesso az atorse. Se il giocatore impiega troppo tempo per completare un livello, Elta verrà perseguitato da un mostro invincibile. La forma di attacco principale di Elta è un proiettile energetico debole ma veloce che può sparare in una delle quattro direzioni, ma raccogliendo le speciali sfere colorate che appaiono occasionalmente, può trasformarsi in una forma diversa, rendendolo più potente e dandogli nuovi attacchi. L'attacco può colpire più volte causando danni aggiuntivi ma copre solo una piccola area. * poseidone: una versione più potente dell'uomo acquatico, poseidone spara ampie onde d'acqua che viaggiano lungo il terreno per diversi colpi. Infligge gravi danni e fa congelare e frantumare i nemici all'impatto.
