Tokushu Butai Jackal (Japan)

1 or 2 players operate a jeep and must battle their way through a huge, vertically scrolling battlefield. Their mission is to save pows and deliver them to the nearest helicopter pad so they can be flown to safety. The hostages are trapped in enemy buildings and pow camps, which must be destroyed in order to release the prisoners. The jeep can only carry up to a maximum of eight pows, the current amount being carried is displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. The jeep is armed with a machine gun and a grenade thrower, the latter of which can be powered-up into a missile launcher. As well as huge numbers of enemy troops and static gun emplacements, the players must also contend with enemy jeeps, tanks, boats, submarines and planes. The final part of the game takes place in the enemy stronghold and the game ends when the final enemy gun emplacements are destroyed.

1 ou 2 joueurs conduisent une jeep et doivent se frayer un chemin à travers un immense champ de bataille à défilement vertical. Leur mission est de sauver les poudres et de les livrer à l'héliport le plus proche afin qu'elles puissent être transportées en toute sécurité. Les otages sont piégés dans des bâtiments et des camps de prisonniers ennemis, qu'il faut détruire pour libérer les prisonniers. La jeep ne peut transporter que huit poudres au maximum, la quantité actuellement transportée est affichée dans le coin supérieur gauche de l'écran. La jeep est armée d'une mitrailleuse et d'un lance-grenades, ce dernier pouvant être transformé en lance-missile. En plus d'un grand nombre de troupes ennemies et d'emplacements de canons statiques, les joueurs doivent également affronter des jeeps, des chars, des bateaux, des sous-marins et des avions ennemis. La dernière partie du jeu se déroule dans la forteresse ennemie et le jeu se termine lorsque les derniers emplacements de canons ennemis sont détruits.

1 o 2 giocatori guidano una jeep e devono farsi strada attraverso un enorme campo di battaglia a scorrimento verticale. La loro missione è salvare i prigionieri e consegnarli all'eliporto più vicino in modo che possano essere portati in salvo. Gli ostaggi sono intrappolati negli edifici nemici e nei campi di prigionia, che devono essere distrutti per liberare i prigionieri. Oltre a un enorme numero di truppe nemiche e postazioni fisse di cannoni, i giocatori devono anche vedersela con jeep, carri armati, barche, sottomarini e aerei nemici. La parte finale del gioco si svolge nella roccaforte nemica e il gioco termina quando le ultime postazioni di cannoni nemiche vengono distrutte.
