Godzilla: the series is based off the tv show on fox, which was in turn based off the 1998 film starring matthew broderick. In this game, the player takes control of the big guy himself as giant monsters from space have invaded earth and are determined to destroy it. Unfortunately for both the aliens and godzilla the military is out to destroy both, so godzilla now has to fight off the military to throw back the alien menace. There are seven levels in all. The player will travel through each level destroying the military to reach the end of the level and fight the boss monster. The only control the player has over godzilla is his attacks as godzilla will walk on his own from left to right on the screen in a linear path. There are four attacks to choose from: stomp, bite, tail-whip and the famous radiation breath.

Dans ce jeu, le joueur prend lui-même le contrôle du grand type alors que des monstres géants venus de l'espace ont envahi la terre et sont déterminés à la détruire. Malheureusement pour les extraterrestres et Godzilla, l'armée veut les détruire tous les deux, alors Godzilla doit maintenant combattre l'armée pour repousser la menace extraterrestre. Il y a sept niveaux en tout. Le joueur parcourra chaque niveau en détruisant l'armée pour atteindre la fin du niveau et combattre le boss monstre. Le seul contrôle que le joueur a sur Godzilla réside dans ses attaques, car Godzilla marchera seul de gauche à droite sur l'écran selon un chemin linéaire. Vous avez le choix entre quatre attaques : piétiner, mordre, fouetter et le fameux souffle de radiation.

In questo gioco, il giocatore prende il controllo dell'omone in persona mentre mostri giganti provenienti dallo spazio hanno invaso la terra e sono determinati a distruggerla. Sfortunatamente sia per gli alieni che per Godzilla, l'esercito è deciso a distruggerli entrambi, quindi Godzilla ora deve combattere l'esercito per respingere la minaccia aliena. Ci sono sette livelli in tutto. Il giocatore viaggerà attraverso ogni livello distruggendo i militari per raggiungere la fine del livello e combattere il mostro boss. L'unico controllo che il giocatore ha su Godzilla sono i suoi attacchi poiché Godzilla camminerà da solo da sinistra a destra sullo schermo in un percorso lineare. Ci sono quattro attacchi tra cui scegliere: calpestio, morso, frusta di coda e il famoso soffio radioattivo.
