Alex "action man" mann makes a stop over onto the game boy color where once again he must stop the world from falling into the clutches of the evil dr. X. The player takes control of action man as they travel through seven different levels ranging for jungles to the arctic, battling an army of robots with a variety of weapons and battle suits in search of base x and stop dr. X from launching a terrifying new weapon that could very well bring an end to the world. The gameplay is a standard side-scrolling action platformer where the player advances throughout the level, destroying enemies and avoiding pit falls. Along the way they can pick up more powerful guns as well as a bow and arrow and even different suits that can help them on their quest. Additionally, players can find these weapons and suits by taking different paths throughout the levels.

Alex "action man" Mann fait une escale sur la couleur du game boy où il doit une fois de plus empêcher le monde de tomber dans les griffes du méchant docteur. X. Le joueur prend le contrôle d'Action Man alors qu'il parcourt sept niveaux différents allant des jungles à l'Arctique, combattant une armée de robots dotés d'une variété d'armes et de combinaisons de combat à la recherche de la base X et arrêtant le Dr. X de lancer une nouvelle arme terrifiante qui pourrait très bien mettre fin au monde. Le gameplay est un jeu de plateforme d'action à défilement horizontal standard dans lequel le joueur avance tout au long du niveau, détruisant les ennemis et évitant les chutes. En chemin, ils peuvent récupérer des armes plus puissantes ainsi qu'un arc et des flèches et même différentes combinaisons qui peuvent les aider dans leur quête. De plus, les joueurs peuvent trouver ces armes et combinaisons en empruntant différents chemins à travers les niveaux.
