Space invaders is a game in which the player controls a laser cannon by moving it horizontally across the bottom of the screen and firing at descending aliens. The aim is to defeat five rows of eleven aliens—some versions feature different numbers—that move horizontally back and forth across the screen as they advance towards the bottom of the screen. The player defeats an alien, and earns points, by shooting it with the laser cannon.

Space Invaders est un jeu dans lequel le joueur contrôle un canon laser en le déplaçant horizontalement en bas de l'écran et en tirant sur les extraterrestres qui descendent. Le but est de vaincre cinq rangées de onze extraterrestres (certaines versions comportent des numéros différents) qui se déplacent horizontalement d'avant en arrière sur l'écran à mesure qu'ils avancent vers le bas de l'écran. Le joueur bat un extraterrestre et gagne des points en lui tirant dessus avec le canon laser.
Space Invaders è un gioco in cui il giocatore controlla un cannone laser spostandolo orizzontalmente nella parte inferiore dello schermo e sparando agli alieni in discesa. Lo scopo è sconfiggere cinque file di undici alieni (alcune versioni presentano numeri diversi) che si muovono orizzontalmente avanti e indietro sullo schermo mentre avanzano verso la parte inferiore dello schermo.
