Descripción
In the game, the player is presented with four ghostbusters to choose from: peter, ray, egon, or winston. The nes version features their accountant, louis, as a fifth playable character. This, along with the north american version of ghostbusters ii, were the only titles ever released that allowed players to play as winston. While the action can be performed by oneself in the nes version, a secondary player may join the game with the ability to press b on a second controller to release a ghost-catching trap. The objective of the game is to trap all the ghosts in an area until an arrow appears which alerts the player where to travel to next. A boss appears at the end of each stage.

Dans le jeu, le joueur a le choix entre quatre chasseurs de fantômes : Peter, Ray, Egon ou Winston. La version nes présente leur comptable, Louis, comme cinquième personnage jouable. Ceci, avec la version nord-américaine de Ghostbusters II, était le seul titre jamais sorti permettant aux joueurs d'incarner Winston. Bien que l'action puisse être effectuée par lui-même dans la version nes, un joueur secondaire peut rejoindre le jeu avec la possibilité d'appuyer sur b sur un deuxième contrôleur pour libérer un piège attrapant les fantômes. L'objectif du jeu est de piéger tous les fantômes dans une zone jusqu'à ce qu'une flèche apparaisse qui alerte le joueur vers où se rendre ensuite. Un boss apparaît à la fin de chaque étape.

Questo, insieme alla versione nordamericana di Ghostbusters II, furono gli unici titoli mai pubblicati che permettevano ai giocatori di giocare nei panni di Winston. Mentre nella versione NES l'azione può essere eseguita da soli, un giocatore secondario può unirsi al gioco con la possibilità di premere b su un secondo controller per rilasciare una trappola cattura fantasmi. L'obiettivo del gioco è intrappolare tutti i fantasmi in un'area finché non appare una freccia che avvisa il giocatore dove dirigersi successivamente. Alla fine di ogni livello appare un boss.
