Judge Dredd

Judge dredd is a platform action game based on the british comic book character of the same name and the 1995 movie that tarnished that name. The game was a multi system release so it fits the standard console jump/shoot/duck formula although it does add some unique twists such as wounding enemies so that they surrender and can be arrested. The initial levels follow the plot of the movie with futuristic lawman judge dredd framed and sent to the aspen penal colony from which he must escape and prove his innocence. Following the fight at the top of the statue of liberty that ended the film, the game continues on with levels and characters inspired by the comic book culminating with a battle against the dark judges on deadworld.

Judge Dredd est un jeu d'action et de plateforme basé sur le personnage de bande dessinée britannique du même nom et le film de 1995 qui a terni ce nom. Le jeu était une version multi-système, il correspond donc à la formule standard de saut/tir/canard de la console, bien qu'il ajoute des rebondissements uniques tels que blesser des ennemis afin qu'ils se rendent et puissent être arrêtés. Les niveaux initiaux suivent l'intrigue du film avec le juge futuriste Dredd encadré et envoyé dans la colonie pénitentiaire d'Aspen dont il doit s'échapper et prouver son innocence. Après le combat au sommet de la statue de la liberté qui a mis fin au film, le jeu continue avec des niveaux et des personnages inspirés de la bande dessinée, culminant avec une bataille contre les juges noirs sur Deadworld.

Il gioco era una versione multisistema, quindi si adatta alla formula standard salto/spara/abbassati della console, anche se aggiunge alcuni colpi di scena unici come ferire i nemici in modo che si arrendano e possano essere arrestati. I livelli iniziali seguono la trama del film con il futuristico giudice Dredd incastrato e inviato nella colonia penale di Aspen da cui deve fuggire e dimostrare la sua innocenza. Dopo il combattimento in cima alla statua della libertà che conclude il film, il gioco prosegue con livelli e personaggi ispirati al fumetto culminando con una battaglia contro i giudici oscuri su Deadworld.
