Putt putt golf by pack-in-video is one of many golf games for the famicom and the famicom disk system, but one of the few to take players through an abstract world rather than an approximation of a real golf course. The goal of each stage is to reach the hole on the green and pot the ball in as few strokes as possible, but each of the courses are covered with various obstacles - some animated, some stationary. The player must navigate around them (or use them to their advantage, in some cases) in order to achieve the best score.

Le joueur doit les contourner (ou les utiliser à son avantage, dans certains cas) afin d'obtenir le meilleur score.

Putt Putt Golf di pack-in-video è uno dei tanti giochi di golf per Famicom e Famicom Disk System, ma uno dei pochi a portare i giocatori attraverso un mondo astratto piuttosto che un'approssimazione di un vero campo da golf. L'obiettivo di ogni fase è raggiungere la buca sul green e imbucare la pallina nel minor numero di colpi possibile, ma ciascuno dei percorsi è ricoperto da vari ostacoli, alcuni animati, altri fissi. Il giocatore deve aggirarli (o usarli a proprio vantaggio, in alcuni casi) per ottenere il punteggio migliore.
