WIZARD OF WOR

Wizard of wor is an arcade shooter played from a top-down point of view. The player controls a warrior who is trapped in a dungeon. The goal is to earn as many points as possible by shooting the numerous enemy creatures which wander about the maze like corridors. The creatures wander about at various speeds, may shoot darts at the player, and some even have the ability to disappear temporarily. At the bottom of the screen the player has a radar which can be used to locate creatures that are invisible. When the the player completes a maze, a worluk sometimes appears. This creature moves rapidly and will only be on the screen momentarily. If the player destroys the creature before it escapes, the next dungeon will become a double score dungeon and all creatures will be worth twice as many points. Occasionally the wizard of wor himself may appear! he moves quickly and can teleport around the maze. If they destroy him, the player will earn a large amount of points. The game may be played by one player or two players simultaneously.

Wizard of Wor est un jeu de tir d'arcade joué d'un point de vue descendant. Le joueur contrôle un guerrier piégé dans un donjon. Le but est de gagner le plus de points possible en tirant sur les nombreuses créatures ennemies qui errent dans le labyrinthe comme des couloirs. Les créatures se promènent à différentes vitesses, peuvent tirer des fléchettes sur le joueur et certaines ont même la capacité de disparaître temporairement. Au bas de l'écran, le joueur dispose d'un radar qui peut être utilisé pour localiser les créatures invisibles. Lorsque le joueur termine un labyrinthe, un worluk apparaît parfois. Cette créature se déplace rapidement et ne sera visible à l'écran que momentanément. Si le joueur détruit la créature avant qu'elle ne s'échappe, le prochain donjon deviendra un donjon à double score et toutes les créatures vaudront deux fois plus de points. Parfois, le magicien du travail lui-même peut apparaître ! il se déplace rapidement et peut se téléporter dans le labyrinthe. S'ils le détruisent, le joueur gagnera un grand nombre de points. Le jeu peut être joué par un ou deux joueurs simultanément.

Wizard of Wor è uno sparatutto arcade giocato da un punto di vista dall'alto verso il basso. Il giocatore controlla un guerriero intrappolato in una prigione. L'obiettivo è guadagnare più punti possibile sparando alle numerose creature nemiche che vagano per i labirinti come corridoi. Le creature vagano a varie velocità, possono lanciare dardi al giocatore e alcune hanno persino la capacità di scomparire temporaneamente. Nella parte inferiore dello schermo il giocatore ha un radar che può essere utilizzato per localizzare creature invisibili. Quando il giocatore completa un labirinto, a volte appare un worluk. Questa creatura si muove rapidamente e sarà sullo schermo solo momentaneamente. Se il giocatore distrugge la creatura prima che scappi, il dungeon successivo diventerà un dungeon a doppio punteggio e tutte le creature varranno il doppio dei punti. Occasionalmente può apparire il mago di Wor in persona! si muove rapidamente e può teletrasportarsi nel labirinto. Se lo distruggono, il giocatore guadagnerà una grande quantità di punti. Il gioco può essere giocato da uno o due giocatori contemporaneamente.
