THRESHOLD

Threshold is a simple shoot'em up game. You are in control of a spaceship at the bottom of the screen and have to shoot several formations of enemies on the top of the screen. To make things more difficult you have limited time in form of a fuel tank which will get refilled after you cleared a number of waves. Besides that your spacecraft is equipped with a laser that tends to overheat. Every shot make the heat bar of the laser increase a bit. Once it reached its maximum you can't fire anymore and are forced to wait until it cooled down while slowly running out of fuel.

Threshold est un simple jeu de tir. Vous contrôlez un vaisseau spatial en bas de l'écran et devez tirer sur plusieurs formations d'ennemis en haut de l'écran. Pour rendre les choses plus difficiles, vous disposez d'un temps limité sous la forme d'un réservoir de carburant qui sera rempli après avoir franchi un certain nombre de vagues. De plus, votre vaisseau spatial est équipé d’un laser qui a tendance à surchauffer. Chaque tir fait augmenter un peu la barre thermique du laser. Une fois qu'il a atteint son maximum, vous ne pouvez plus tirer et êtes obligé d'attendre qu'il refroidisse tout en tombant lentement à court de carburant.

Threshold è un semplice gioco sparatutto. Hai il controllo di un'astronave nella parte inferiore dello schermo e devi sparare a diverse formazioni di nemici nella parte superiore dello schermo. Per rendere le cose più difficili, hai un tempo limitato sotto forma di un serbatoio di carburante che verrà riempito dopo aver eliminato un certo numero di onde. Oltre a ciò la tua navicella spaziale è dotata di un laser che tende a surriscaldarsi. Ogni colpo fa aumentare leggermente la barra di calore del laser. Una volta raggiunto il suo massimo non è più possibile sparare e si è costretti ad aspettare che si raffreddi mentre lentamente finisce il carburante.
