DOLPHIN

Dolphin is a side scrolling action game. You control a dolphin that is being chased by a giant sea squid. Your goal is to earn points by staying alive as long as possible. As you swim away from the squid, you will encounter schools of sea horses which form a vertical row on the screen with only a small opening to swim through. As you approach each school, the dolphins sonar will help you locate the opening; a low pitched sound will indicate the opening is near the bottom of the screen, and a higher pitched sound indicates the opening is near the top. If you miss the opening, the dolphin will lose speed allowing the squid to catch up to you! from time to time, a seagull may fly overhead; if you jump out of the water and touch the seagull, your dolphin will temporarily be able to chase the squid. Throughout the ocean are waves which are indicated by arrows; an arrow pointing the same direction you are travelling will boost the dolphins speed, whereas an arrow pointing the opposite direction slows you down. The longer you stay alive, the faster and trickier the squid will become! the game ends when all of your dolphins have been caught by the squid.

Dolphin est un jeu d'action à défilement horizontal. Vous contrôlez un dauphin poursuivi par un calmar géant. Votre objectif est de gagner des points en restant en vie le plus longtemps possible. En nageant loin du calmar, vous rencontrerez des bancs d'hippocampes qui forment une rangée verticale sur l'écran avec seulement une petite ouverture pour nager. À l'approche de chaque banc, le sonar des dauphins vous aidera à localiser l'ouverture ; un son grave indiquera que l'ouverture est près du bas de l'écran, et un son plus aigu indique que l'ouverture est près du haut. Si vous ratez l'ouverture, le dauphin perdra de la vitesse permettant au calmar de vous rattraper ! de temps en temps, une mouette peut survoler ; si vous sautez hors de l'eau et touchez la mouette, votre dauphin pourra temporairement chasser le calmar. Tout au long de l'océan se trouvent des vagues indiquées par des flèches ; une flèche pointant dans la même direction que celle dans laquelle vous voyagez augmentera la vitesse des dauphins, tandis qu'une flèche pointant dans la direction opposée vous ralentira. Plus vous restez en vie longtemps, plus le calmar deviendra rapide et délicat ! le jeu se termine lorsque tous vos dauphins ont été capturés par le calmar.

Dolphin è un gioco d'azione a scorrimento laterale. Controlli un delfino inseguito da un calamaro marino gigante. Il tuo obiettivo è guadagnare punti rimanendo in vita il più a lungo possibile. Mentre nuoti lontano dai calamari, incontrerai banchi di cavallucci marini che formano una fila verticale sullo schermo con solo una piccola apertura attraverso cui nuotare. Man mano che ti avvicini a ciascuna scuola, il sonar dei delfini ti aiuterà a localizzare l'apertura; un suono basso indicherà che l'apertura è vicina alla parte inferiore dello schermo, mentre un suono più acuto indicherà che l'apertura è vicina alla parte superiore. Se perdi l'apertura, il delfino perderà velocità permettendo ai calamari di raggiungerti! di tanto in tanto può volare un gabbiano; se salti fuori dall'acqua e tocchi il gabbiano, il tuo delfino potrà temporaneamente inseguire il calamaro. In tutto l'oceano ci sono onde indicate da frecce; una freccia che punta nella stessa direzione in cui stai viaggiando aumenterà la velocità dei delfini, mentre una freccia che punta nella direzione opposta ti rallenterà. Più a lungo rimani in vita, più veloce e complicato diventerà il calamaro! il gioco termina quando tutti i tuoi delfini sono stati catturati dai calamari.
